Children Celebrate Memorial Day

In honor of Memorial Day, students at the Flushing Christian School, which has kindergarten through eighth grade, recently performed the annual concert “Americans We . . . A Celebration of the People, By the People, for the People.” Students sang and used instruments to perform songs such as “Oh, I Love America,” “March of the Wee Americans,” “The Star Spangled Banner” and “Battle Hymn for Gettysburg.” Re-enactments and narrations were also part of the show.
