RIDGEWOOD – A Glendale man was charged with having six kilos of cocaine in a stolen car following a traffic stop Monday in Ridgewood, police said.
Edwin Andujar, 33, of 69-42 68th St. in Glendale, was stopped by members of the Patrol Borough Queens North Auto Larceny unit at around 3:45 p.m. Monday near 80-49 68th Rd. in Ridgewood, police said.
Andujar allegedly fled from the blue 2006 Chrysler Pacifica when officers approached it, police said, but he was caught a short distance away without incident.
Officers allegedly found six kilos of cocaine inside the car, which police said was stolen.
Andujar was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, grand larceny of an automobile and criminal possession of stolen property, police said.
