As 2010 continues to move along, it seems our economy has not really improved much at all. Unemployment currently is at 9.6 percent and more people are losing their jobs and homes as well as not being able to pay other expenses.
Everything continues to rise, from food to clothes to fuel to mortgage and credit card rates, but the salaries of American workers are not rising — only the salaries of corporate CEOs and their staffs. The rich are becoming richer and the rest of us are becoming poorer. Our nation needs to be able to recover from this recession and Congress and the president need to work together to make this happen.
We need to reduce the unemployment rate and get all of our jobless people back to work. America needs to become free of this recession and it is going to take a lot of work.
The American people will make their dissatisfaction known at the voting booths this November.
