Teen arrested in fatal hit and run

A 17-year-old man was arrested and charged after he allegedly struck a pedestrian on Saturday, November 27 at 63rd Road and 108th Street.
When police arrived on the scene, they determined that the victim, a 31-year-old man, victim had been crossing the street at the intersection when he was struck by a 2010 Nissan Rogue traveling southbound on 108th Street. The vehicle fled the scene. The victim was then struck by a 1998 Nissan Maxima traveling northbound on 108th Street, which stayed on scene. EMS responded and took the victim to New York Hospital Queens, where he is listed in critical condition.
Avraham Mullokandov now faces charges of vehicular assault, leaving the scene of an accident and license restriction violation.
