Peking Opera Performance

In celebration of the Chinese New Year, a Peking opera performance will be held at the Flushing Library, located at 41-17 Main Street, at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 29.
The concert is being sponsored by the New York Chinese Opera Society. It will include the pieces “Wu Jia Po” and “Fleeing Down the Mountain.”

‘Back to the ‘60s’
Queensborough Performing Arts Center

Queensborough Performing Arts Center, located at 222-05 56th Avenue in Bayside, will hold “Back to the ‘60s” at 8 p.m. on Saturday, January 29.
The concert will feature Ron Dante, Sonny Geraci and Dennis Tufano, who will be performing Top 40 rock and roll hits.
Tickets cost $35.

Ultimate Singer-Songwriter Contest
Waltz-Astoria

Waltz-Astoria, located at 23-14 Ditmars Boulevard, will hold the final round of its third Ultimate Singer-Songwriter Contest at 7 p.m. on Sunday, January 30.
Local singer-songwriters from three qualifying rounds will compete for the title.

‘The Logic of Association’
MoMA P.S. 1
Through April 4

The exhibition “The Logic of Association” will be on display at MoMA P.S. 1, located at 22-25 Jackson Avenue in Long Island City, through April 4.
Artists include in the exhibit, which opened on December 12, are Eric Duyckaerts, Matt Mullican, Peter Piller, Hanna Sandin, Alexandre Singh and Stephen Willats. The artists “borrow from the visual languages of science, advertising and pedagogy, using systems of classification and information design as allegories rather than explanations.”
