JAMAICA — A violent outburst in a Walgreens Jan. 24 ended with the arrest of a Virginia man, according to police.
At about 7 p.m., Christopher Dodd, of Petersburgh, Va., entered the store at 127-04 Guy R. Brewer Blvd. and allegedly began to strangle the victim before shoving him into a wall of shelves, according to a criminal complaint from the DA’s office.
Dodd was arrested and charged with assault and harassment, the complaint said. When questioned by officers, Dodd allegedly said, “I wanted to speak to the girl. I didn’t punch him, but I did choke him because I was defending myself,” according to the dad
