9th Annual Top Women in Business Awards a success

More than 800 people dined and networked at Terrace on the Park on May 19 to help honor this year’s Top Women in Business.
The 9th annual event honored over 40 women who in addition to making positive impacts in the business world, are also active in giving back to their communities.

Also honored were the ‘man’ and ‘woman’ of the year, Police Commissioner Raymond Kelly and Fox 5 reporter Tai Hernandez.
This year’s Claire Shulman Award went to Charlotte Jefferson, the rookies of the year were Katie and Kourtney Mueller and the Health Professional Award went to Cynthia Pan and Kathy Huang.
The night began with a networking event and was followed by a sit down dinner during which the honorees were recognized.
Proceeds of this year’s raffles will be donated to the Queens Boy Scouts of America.
