Memorial Day is almost upon us and it is time to remember our veterans. We need to remember all those who gave their lives and the many veterans who have lost limbs, hearing and sight.
We also need to salute our brave men and women who are serving in Afghanistan, Iraq and other parts of the world.
Remember this too and that is our flag is not just a piece of cloth with stars and stripes. These stars and stripes represent the blood and tears of my fellow veterans. It is a flag that has waved in both good times and bad times.
This Memorial Day, come out to your local parades and wave the flag of our country for these colors don’t run. And may God bless America
