Senator Kirsten Gillibrand and colleagues noted the deportation of a record number of undocumented immigrants last year. A parent comes into this country illegally, gets a job and has children who are sent to a public school to receive a free education.
The parent pays no taxes for the free education, medical help or any other government programs. The legal citizen of this country must pay his/her taxes for the same benefits and at the same time pay for the illegal alien.
Gillibrand’s plan is not to help the legal immigrant but to help the family raised in this country illegally. As she stated in your article, the illegal immigrant should stay so that he/she can make a contribution to our country’s military and economy.
Why do Gillibrand and her colleagues support an illegal act? Why are the people here legally being brushed aside and the illegal alien and family receiving all of the benefits of the hardworking taxpayers’ contribution to America?
Gillibrand are you aware that it was the legal immigrant who voted for you? It’s your sworn responsibility to support them and this government. It’s not your responsibility to support the lawbreakers.
