Police responded to a male shot in Jamaica just after midnight on Monday, December 12. Officers arrived to find Joe Nash, 37, lying in the street at 171st Street and Jamaica Avenue with a gunshot to the hip. EMS responded and took Nash to Jamaica Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival. No arrests have been made and the investigation is ongoing.
