While getting out of his ride, a man was injured after being pinned between his vehicle and a car that was backing out of a parking lot in Middle Village last Friday afternoon, Dec. 30, 2011, it was reported. Fire Department sources said the accident occurred at around 2;45 p.m. at the Subway restaurant located at the corner of Metropolitan Avenue and 73rd Place. Firefighters from Engine Co. 319 and Ladder Co. 135 responded to the scene along with the 104th Precinct and EMS units. The injured man was brought by paramedics to a local hospital for treatment of serious injuries, FDNY sources said.
