Bwg Takes Manhattan

The BWG Cosmos U8A (pictured here) and U8B teams participated in the CJSL tournaments held last weekend at Chelsea Piers in Manhattan. The U8A team won the first three games by a wide margin, with an impassable defense and great goalkeeping. In the semifinals, the team dominated the game with good passing and control of the ball to reach the final, and were able to overcome an initial 2-0 deficit to win 7-5. The U8B CJSL Tournament team also won its first ever tournament. Players Julian Lannert, Ryan Wiseman, Jason Araujo, Liam Molloy, Matthew Iriarte, Jake Zollner, Jordan Cohen and Oliverio Bosi took home trophies.
