Feds arrest man heading to US Capitol for suicide mission
Authorities have arrested a man on his way to the US Capitol for what he thought would be a suicide attack on one of the nation’s most symbolic landmarks, FOX News Channel has learned exclusively. The man, in his 30s and of Moroccan descent, was nabbed following a lengthy investigation by the FBI, initiated after he expressed interest in conducting an attack. Singer Robin Thicke nabbed for smoking a joint: cops
R&B crooner Robin Thicke was busted for allegedly smoking a joint in the East Village this morning. The 34-year-old singer was given a desk appearance ticket after police spotted him getting high in the passenger seat of a car on Bowery, cops said. A desk appearance ticket means Thicke, whose albumn “Love After War,” was released in December, wasn’t caught with a significant amount of marijuana. Woman shot in chest outside Brooklyn school
A woman was shot in the chest this afternoon across the street from an Brooklyn elementary school, police said. The unidentified woman was struck in the chest next to PS 384, on Cooper Street in Bushwick at 2:15 p.m. The woman was rushed to Kings County Hospital. Her condition is not known. Cops took the gunman into custody at the scene and have recovered the weapon. Read More: New York Post
Time Warner Cable and MSG Resolve Dispute
The 48-day standoff between the MSG Network and Time Warner Cable ended Friday, according to two people aware of the resolution who were not authorized to speak publicly.
