No residents were reportedly injured after a fire broke out inside a laundromat in Bushwick on Sunday afternoon, Mar. 11. Fire Department sources said the one-alarm blaze ignited at around 4:30 p.m. inside the laundromat on the first floor of a fourstory building on Bushwick Avenue near Jefferson Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 218, 217, 237 and 277; Ladder companies 108, 111 and 112; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 37 and 28-under the direction of Division 11-along with the 83rd Precinct and EMS units. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
