Suspect steals bag from Rego Park shop: Police

REGO PARK — Police were looking for a man who allegedly swiped a woman’s bag from a Rego Park shop Tuesday of last week, according to the NYPD.

According to police, the suspect stole the bag from the floor of the store, at 97-22 Queens Blvd., while the shopper was browsing at about 5 p.m.

The suspect is described as between 5-foot-9 and 6-foot in height and between 45 and 50 years old. Police said he was last seen wearing a black leather jacket, black hat, black pants, as well as eyeglasses.
