Flames ripped through a Williamsburg apartment house during a two-alarm fire on Sunday morning, Mar. 4, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the inferno ignited at around 11 a.m. in the vicinity of Bedford Avenue and North Seventh Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were members of Engine companies 229, 216, 221, 238, 211, 230, 237, 206 and 207; Ladder companies 104, 108, 146, 106 and 119; Squad Co. 252; Rescue 2 and Battalions 35, 45, 31 and 57-under the direction of Division 11-along with the 94th Precinct and EMS units. There were no reported injuries. Three hose lines were used by firefighters to extinguish the blaze, an FDNY source said.
