Police want to ID suspect in boro rape

ST. ALBANS — The NYPD was seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect wanted in connection with a rape in the 113th Precinct.

Police said that on April 20 just before 1 a.m., the suspect, armed with a gun, allegedly approached a female victim and forced her into an alley in the vicinity of 190th Street in St. Albans and raped her. The victim was taken to a nearby hospital, where she was treated and released, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male between the ages of 20 and 25, standing about 5 feet 5 inches tall and with a thin build. He was seen wearing a black Champion hooded sweatshirt and gray scarf.
