FOREST HILLS — Police were seeking the public’s assistance in recovering several religious artifacts swiped from a Forest Hills synagogue.
Cops said the items — a silver pointer, Torah breast plate, silver-coated plate and a ritual wine cup — were discovered missing June 18 from Congregation Ahavath Shalom Synagogue, at 75-02 113th St.
There is currently no description of any suspect and cops are asking anyone with information to contact them through the Crime Stoppers tipline.
