Checking Under the Hood In Maspeth

Vintage rides were on display in the parking lot of Maspeth Federal Savings’ main branch during the 11th annual Maspeth Classic Car Show on Sunday, Sept. 23. As noted, the event-sponsored by the bank and presented by Joe Wroblewski of Frank’s Deli-was held in memory of Fire Lt. Kenneth J. Phelan, who was killed in the line of duty during the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks. All proceeds raised during the car show were donated to Maspeth Town Hall for their various programs.
