Four people were injured after a pair of cars crashed at a Glendale intersection on Tuesday morning, Sept. 11, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the accident happened at 11:45 a.m. at the corner of Cooper Avenue and 71st Place. Reportedly, the impact of the collision caused one of the sedans involved to turn over onto its side, trapping its driver. Among the units that responded to the scene were Engine Co. 286, Ladder Co. 135, Squad Co. 252, Rescue 4, Battalion 28, the 104th Precinct, NYPD Emergency Services Unit 10 and EMS units. All four victims were removed by paramedics to local hospitals for injuries which were not life-threatening, an FDNY source said.
