QUEENS VILLAGE — An NYPD Internal Affairs officer was arrested last week after allegedly beating up his girlfriend, according to the New York Post.
Capt. Aaron Wright, 38, was arrested Jan. 18 and charged with three counts each of assault and criminal mischief and two counts of harassment, according to the NYPD.
The Post reported that the off-duty officer waited outside his girlfriend’s home and, when she arrived at 1:43 a.m., he hit her so hard she lost consciousness.
