Firefighters rushed to put out a one-alarm fire that broke out inside the garage of a truck dealer in Maspeth last Thursday morning, Feb. 28, it was reported. According to Fire Department sources, the blaze ignited at around 10:30 a.m. on the secondfloor of Milea Truck Sales and Leasing’s garage on Maurice Avenue near 60th Street. Responding to the scene (in the order of their arrival) were Squad companies 288 and 270; Engine companies 292, 325 and 291; Ladder companies 140, 163 and 136; Rescue 4 and Battalions 46 and 45-under the direction of Division 14-along with the 108th Precinct and EMS units. There were no reported injuries. One hose line was used by firefighters to bring the blaze under control, an FDNY source said.
