Two homes in the Bedford-Stuyvesant section of Brooklyn were charred during a three-alarm fire on Sunday, Apr. 28, Fire Department sources said. Reportedly, the blaze ignited inside a two-story dwelling in the vicinity of Lexington and Lewis avenues and quickly spread to an adjoining structure. More than 20 Fire Department units responded to the scene along with EMS units and the 81st Precinct. There were no reported injuries. Five hose lines were used by firefighters to bring the inferno under control, an FDNY source said.
