Jax Hts. teen girl reported missing: Police

JACKSON HEIGHTS — The city Police Department was asking the public for help to find a missing teenager last seen within the 115th Precinct.

Carina Mendez, 14, was reported missing since May 17, when she was seen leaving her home on 92nd Street, the NYPD said. Cops described her as standing 5-foot-4, 116 pounds and with black hair and brown eyes. She was last spotted wearing a white polo shirt, tan pants and a gray and white sweater, police said.
