Robbery suspect hit banks in Ridgewood and B’klyn: Cops

RIDGEWOOD Police were looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed a Brooklyn bank and tried to rob another one in Ridgewood, cops said. attempted bank robbery, police said.

The robbery occurred March 22 at 2:25 p.m. inside the Popular Community Bank, at 2095 Ralph Ave. in Brooklyn.

The attempted robbery occurred June 17 at 10:50 a.m. inside the Bank of America, at 59-01 Myrtle Ave. in Queens.

In both cases, the suspect demanded money by passing a note.
