FOREST HILLS — An off-duty firefighter was arrested and charged with the robbery of an off-duty police officer, the New York Post reported.
Angel Valerio, 30, and friends were leaving the T.G.I. Friday’s on Austin Street after drinking on Sunday night, when they got into an argument with the victim, who identified himself as a police officer. according to the New York Post.
The group allegedly beat him up and mugged him and tried to take his gun, the Post reported.
Valerio was charged with robbery, assault and attempted criminal possession of a weapon, the NYPD said.
