Cops hunt Flushing subway robbery suspect

FLUSHING — The Police Department was looking for help in finding a suspect wanted in connection with a grand larceny within the 107th Precinct, cops said.

The NYPD said a black man, last seen wearing a black baseball cap, white T-shirt, blue jeans and black sneakers allegedly tried to buy a MetroCard using a stolen credit card at the Utica Avenue subway station Aug. 17.

Police said the suspect got his hands on the stolen card by allegedly stealing it from a straphanger on the southbound F train near 179th Street’s subway station that same day between 5:40 a.m. and 7 a.m.
