Police are looking for a perp accused of committing a criminal sex act against a 12-year-old girl in Ozone Park.

Three girls were talking at the corner of 116th Avenue and Lincoln Street on Sunday, said a resident whose home security cameras caught the incident.

“The gentleman pulled up in an SUV, stopped, got out of the vehicle and approached the three girls,” said the resident, who declined to give his name. “They spoke for about five or six minutes.”

Two of the young girls left and one stayed. Cameras show the girl “willingly” got into the perp’s car around 2:30 p.m., and he drove off down 116th Avenue.

Police said the suspect then drove to a nearby location where he exposed himself to the girl and sexually attacked her. The 12-year-old victim then got out of the car and ran to a nearby friend’s house, who called 9-1-1. She was then brought to Queens General Hospital where she was treated and released.

“I have two daughters of my own,” said the resident, who has a 13 and a 15-year-old. “I’m scared to death. I drove my girls to school.”

“I always tell them, ‘Don’t walk to the curb, someone could pull up and grab you,’” he said.

A woman waiting for the bus near the corner where the incident occurred said some days she sees a man slowly driving by, attempting to talk to girls waiting for the bus. He then crosses the intersection and waits on the other side for a few minutes before driving away, she alleges.

The suspect is a black male, estimated to be in his 20s, 6’ tall with black hair, brown eyes and a scruffy beard. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white undershirt, red jacket, red sneakers, a red and white baseball cap and a silver chain hanging to his waist.

His vehicle is described as a silver, four-door SUV. It is seen in the below video approaching 116th Avenue from Lincoln Street and making a right turn onto 116th Avenue.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS (8477). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website or can text their tips to CRIMES (274637), then enter TIP577. All calls are strictly confidential.
