Local NBA hopefuls will have a chance to learn basketball from a professional.
All-Star center Brook Lopez of the Brooklyn Nets will host his second annual youth basketball camp on Sunday, December 1 at Fitzgerald Gymnasium in Queens College.
Lopez, as well as top college coaches, will be on site to direct children on basketball fundamentals. The clinic is open to boys and girls from grades 1-12.
The basketball camp will run from 9 am to 12:30 pm. Participants will receive an autograph from Lopez, a team photo with the NBA player and a camp T-shirt.
The cost of the camp is $99 per child or $49 for Citi Bank card members.
