MANHATTAN — Authorities were investigating the alleged role of an undercover NYPD detective from Queens in the West Side Highway motorcycle melee last month, the New York Post reported.

The detective, Wojciech Braszczok, was arrested and charged with felony gang assault earlier this month, the Post reported.

Braszczok, who has not been indicted, was expected to appear in front of a grand jury, according to the Post.

Authorities say Braszczok allegedly smashed in the rear window of Alexian Lien’s SUV, while his wife and child were inside.

Two other motorcyclists have been indicted in connection with the melee, the Post reported.
