Checking In at Glendale Library

Queens Library President and CEO Thomas W. Galante and City Council Member Elizabeth Crowley visited the Glendale library last Thursday, Jan. 9, and got a chance to demonstrate the new self-service check-out and check-in equipment installed at the branch last month. As noted, Crowley has committed more than $2.5 million toward future upgrades at the library, which include renovations to the first floor, an elevator and additional handicap accessibility features. The improvements are scheduled to be completed in 2015.
