Police Search For His Attacker
Police are looking for answers and suspects involved in the stabbing of a man in Woodhaven early on Sunday morning, Jan. 19, authorities stated.
The victim, whose age was not known, was listed in stable condition at Jamaica Hospital Medical Center with injuries that did not appear to be life-threatening.
Officers from the 102nd Precinct and EMS units rushed to the intersection of Jamaica Avenue and Woodhaven Boulevard at around 4:11 a.m. Sunday after receiving a 911 call about a man being stabbed.
Upon their arrival, it was reported, law enforcement agents found the man, who had been knifed once in the back.
The suspect(s) involved in the attack, as well as a possible motive, remain unknown as of press time.
Paramedics brought the injured man to Jamaica Hospital for treatment.
Various police units searched the surrounding area for clues and potential suspects, but those efforts ended with negative results, it was noted.
The 102nd Precinct Detective Squad is investigating the case, police said.
