Ridgewood Mail Troubles Continue

Editor’s note: The following letter was dated Feb. 2 and received by the Times Newsweekly after press time last Wednesday, Feb. 5. The author’s identity was withheld upon request. Dear Editor:

I am a subscriber and I thoroughly agree with whoever wrote last week to you about the mail (“Ridgewood Resident: Where’s The Mail?”, Jan. 30, online at www.timesnewsweekly.com). It sounds like the deliveries on my block.

I received your Jan. 16 issue on Jan. 24, and I get everyone else’s mail that live blocks away. My neighbor never got his pension check till days later, after payment was stopped. Now I haven’t gotten mine.

I’m 92 years old and don’t need this nonsense. I live here over 50 years and never had such mail delivery.
