Sights and sounds of the Civil War came to life at Maple Grove Cemetery in Kew Gardens on Sunday afternoon, June 8. Historians portrayed members of the Union Army’s Company K, 67th Long Island NY Division and told stories of the conflict between North and South. The presentation also included demonstrations of Civil War-era weapons and tours of a typical military encampment.
