The Cub Scouts of Pack 390 in Woodside hiked from their den at St. Teresa’s Roman Catholic church to Engine 325/Ladder 163s fire station in Woodside on Friday, May 30. Fireman, Steve Lopilato, a former scout himself, answered questions about being a firefighter and gave the kids an interior view of the engine, while his colleague, Firefighter Louie Caraballo gave a hands on demonstration of the engine’s equipment. The scouts and their parents also expressed their gratitude for the dedication of these first responders and the “Pride of Woodside.” Pictured is Pack 390 with Lopilato and Scouts, from left to right, Patrick McKnight, Jayden Rosario, Manny Jeffcoat, Noe Lopez, Milton Enriquez, Joseph O’Sulivan, Aurelius Herrera, Steven Ross, Xavier Caba, Anthony Cuzo, Alex Ovanessian, Jack McKnight, Michael Tonns and Tony Tonns, scout leader and Junior Webelo Kazuki Russo.
