HENRY S. WANG died on Saturday, September 6, at the age of 59.
He was the beloved husband of Nancy Wang, loving father of Lucy
Wang-Ng, Edward Wang and Lisa L. Wang, cherished grandfather of
Christopher, Samantha, Jonathan, Sabrina, Kaelyn and Jareth and dear
brother of Ren Wang, Xu Guang and the late Zi Wang. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be offered Friday morning, September 12, at
9:30 a.m. at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Forest Hills,
followed by interment at Maple Grove Cemetery, Kew Gardens,
under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Ave.,

ANTONIO MICELI of Maspeth died on Wednesday, August 20, at
the age of 76. Anative of Burgio, Sicily, he was the beloved husband
of Theresa Miceli, devoted father of Gina, Melissa and Anthony and
father-in-law of Shea, Mike and Silvana; fond grandfather of Anthony
and Robert and a loving brother, brother-in-law, uncle and friend to
many. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered at Our Lady of the
Miraculous Medal Church, Ridgewood, followed by interment at All
Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, under the direction of Seneca
Chapels, 494 Seneca Ave., Ridgewood.

GENNARO MIRRA died on Wednesday, September 3, at the age of
82. He was the husband of the late Isola Mirra, loving father of Ersilia
Mirra, Anna Nicolino, Massimo Mirra, Sabato Mirra and Gianni
Mirra, cherished grandfather of Marianna, Vincenzo, Daniella,
Michael, Gianluca, Alex, Nicholas, Isabella, Gianni and Luca, greatgrandfather of Vincent and Victoria and dear brother of Carmine,
Vincenzo, Cosimia and Giovanni. He is also survived by numerous
nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. A Mass of Christian Burial was
offered on Saturday, September 6, at St. Patrick’s Church, Brooklyn,
followed by interment at Resurrection Cemetery, Staten Island, under

JORGE E. RAMOS died on Sunday, August 31, at the age of 74. He
was the beloved husband of Maria J. Ramos, loving father of Edwin
Ramos and Andrew Ramos, father-in-law of Cheryl, cherished
grandfather of Shelbi and George and son-in-law of Genowefa
Zydolowicz and dear brother of Yomaira Garzon, Patricia Ramos and
Bertha Pedragosa. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews

age of 85. She was the beloved wife of Theodore Rempuszewski,
loving mother of Christine and Robert, mother-in-law of Vincent and

and great-grandmother of Thomas and Samantha. A Mass of Christian

Sunday, September 7, at the age of 59. A
native of Patchogue, L.I., she was the
beloved wife of David Stroble, devoted
mother of David Stroble, Rose Mohyla,
Steven Stroble and Anthony Stroble and dear
sister of Debra Clark and Joyce Buckley. She
is also survived by three grandchildren.

JOAN MADDEN of Ridgewood died on

Sunday, September 7, at the age of 82. A
native of Brooklyn, she was the beloved
companion of Charles “Chick” Farrell,
devoted mother of Patricia Finn and the late
Deborah Sherol and dear sister of Ray
Peterson and the late Bobby Peterson. She is
also survived by four grandchildren and
eight great-grandchildren. She was a
member and past president of the Women’s
Auxiliary Post 123 and member of the
Grandmothers’ Club. Services were offered
