Police were searching for the shooter who wounded a man in Far Rockaway early Saturday morning, the NYPD said.
Authorities said a 21-year-old man was shot in the abdomen around 12:40 a.m. Sept. 6 at 14-50 Gateway Blvd. The victim was taken to Jamaica Hospital and is listed in stable condition, police said.
The suspect is described as a heavyset black male, weighing approximately 225 pounds and wearing a white shirt with shorts and a T-shirt around his head, the NYPD said. He was last seen walking toward 52nd Street after the shooting, according to police.
