Arias lost control of the car and crashed in the vicinity of 181st Street, said the NYPD.

Police said the front seat passenger, Karim Carter, 19, was taken to Jamaica Hospital in serious condition where he was pronounced dead.

A 14-year-old male was transported to Long Island Jewish Hospital, where he was listed in stable condition with injuries to his legs.
