Sun. Schedules For Christmas, New Yr.
All MTA New York City Transit subways and buses, and all MTA Bus Company routes, will operate on a Sunday schedule on Christmas Day, tomorrow, Thursday, Dec. 25, and New Year’s Day, next Thursday, Jan. 1, 2015.
Riders are advised to plan their trips accordingly.
Additionally, the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) will offer additional eastbound trains out of Penn Station today, Wednesday, Dec. 24, for those leaving work early to begin the holiday weekend.
Both MTA New York City Transit and the LIRR will also offer additional train service on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, Dec. 31, for those traveling to and from the celebrations in Times Square.

Weekend Express For E & R In Queens
Jamaica Center-bound E trains will operate express service between Queens Plaza and 71st- Continental Avenues late nights this weekend, from 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29.
Additionally, Forest Hillsbound R trains will run express service in the same section at all times this Saturday and Sunday.
For service to the 36th Street, Steinway Street, 46th Street, Northern Boulevard, 65th Street, Elmhurst Avenue, Grand Avenue, Woodhaven Boulevard, 63rd Drive and 67th Avenue stations, take the E or R trains to 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound E or R train.
For service from these stations, take the E or R train to Queens Plaza, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train or a Forest Hills-bound R train.
Disruptions Slow G Train In Bklyn.
Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will serve as the last stop for alternate Church Avenue-bound G trains this Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 27-28, from 5 a.m. to midnight. Riders can transfer between G trains at Bedford- Nostrand Avenues to continue their trip.
It was noted that all G trains running between Court Square and Bedford-Nostrand Avenues will operate every 20 minutes. Riders are advised to allow for additional travel time.
E & F Trains Skip Weekend Stations
Jamaica Center-bound E trains and Jamaica-bound F trains will skip the 75th Avenue and Van Wyck Boulevard stations this weekend, from 12:15 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 27, until 5 a.m. Monday, Dec. 29. During this period, Jamaica-bound F trains will also skip the Sutphin Boulevard stop.
For service to these stations, take the Jamaica Center-bound E train to Union Turnpike or Jamaica-Van Wyck, or the Jamaica-bound F train to Union Turnpike or Parsons Boulevard, then transfer to a Manhattanbound E or F train. For service from these stations, take the E or F train to Union Turnpike or 71st- Continental Avenues, then transfer to a Jamaica Center-bound E train or a Jamaica-bound F train.
Station Renewal Affects A Train
The Manhattan-bound platforms at the 88th Street and 104th Street A train stations in Ozone Park remain closed through January 2015 for repairs related to the MTA’s station renewal program.
For service to these stations, take the A train to 80th Street, then transfer to an Ozone Park-bound or a Far Rockaway-bound A train. For service from these stations, take the A train to Rockaway Boulevard or 111th Street, then transfer to a Manhattan-bound A train.
