Auto retailer chain opens its 10th store in Richmond Hill

By Sadef Ali Kully

Arch Auto Parts, an auto parts supplier with locations across the city, has opened its fifth store in Queens at 113-19 Atlantic Ave. in Richmond Hill.

It has stores in Laurelton, Hollis, Jamaica and South Ozone Park. The Richmond Hill location brings its number of outlets to 10 across Queens, Brooklyn and Long Island.

CEO Chris Bodh said the new store is conveniently located in one of the most dense car populations where 28,000 cars travel daily in front of the Arch Auto Parts store about half a mile west of the Van Wyck Expressway.

The auto parts retailer stocks more than 50,000 original equipment and original equipment-equivalent parts, so customers get the vehicle-specific parts they need to fit their vehicles.

Arch Auto Parts carries the national brands such as Akebono, Bosch, Gates, Denso, Raybestos, Advics, Gabriel, MPA, Standard, Exide and Timken parts.

Bodh said that retail customers will also find many hard-to-find parts typically sold only at dealers, at discounts of 50 percent to 80 percent off dealer prices.

“At Arch, we believe every customer deserves high-quality parts — without paying high-end prices,” Bodh said. “And it shouldn’t be complicated to get the parts that will work best for your car or truck. Our countermen are well-trained professionals who understand parts, and help customers get the right fit for their vehicles — fast.”

Since the company was founded in 1979, Arch has grown from one small storefront to 10 stores serving many of the highest-rated service and repair shops in the boroughs, as well as neighborhood customers.

Over 80 percent of Arch Auto Parts sales are to repeat buyers, Vice President of Sales Moe Ali said.

“Whether it’s a service pro calling early Monday morning, or someone fixing their mother’s car on Saturday afternoon, our customers count on Arch because they know they always get quality parts, at discount prices,” Ali said. “We’re open every day, and we carry the best brands on the market, so customers get the parts to do the job right, the first time. That’s why they keep coming back.”

Arch Auto Parts stocks original equipment and aftermarket auto parts for domestic and foreign vehicles, including brake pads, drums and rotors; wheel hubs and bearings; motor mounts, chassis and control arms; steering and suspension parts; cabin filters, oil filters, fuel and emission filters and manifolds; sensors and switches; timing belts and water pumps; ignition, alternators and distributors; heating and air conditioning; and hard-to-find car parts such as window regulators and wiper motors.
