Man struck and killed by 7 train in Corona; Police

CORONA—A 26-year-old Murray Hill man was struck and killed by a No. 7 train Saturday after he fell off the subway platform at the Junction Boulevard station, police said.

Alejandro Serrano-Ortega was found on the tracks at 1:30 a.m. with severe body trauma and emergency medical personnel declared him dead at the scene, according to the NYPD.

The investigation was ongoing.
