While he slept at his Jamaica home, four men attacked and robbed him, cops say

Talk about a rude awakening.

Four robbers who invaded a Jamaica home, assaulted a sleeping man in the head and robbed him earlier this month remain at large, according to police.

The NYPD released video Thursday night of two of the suspects wanted for the robbery that occurred at 11:30 a.m. on June 11 inside a residence in the vicinity of Jamaica Avenue and Merrick Boulevard.

According to authorities, the four bandits — described as black males between 18 to 20 years of age — made their way inside the residence and approached a 20-year-old man sleeping inside. One of the crooks then struck the sleeping victim in the head with an unknown object, and the suspects demanded money.

After obtaining the victim’s cell phone and an unknown amount of cash, the perpetrators fled the scene in an unknown direction.

Officers from the 103rd Precinct responded to the incident. The victim was treated at Jamaica Hospital for a head laceration.

One of the two suspects caught on video was last seen wearing a black-and-white Nike jacket, while the other wore glasses a black hooded sweatshirt with the words “Rip Smoke” on the front.
