Fourth of July fireworks are returning to Fort Totten

The annual Fort Totten 4th of July fireworks show will again be sponsored by Councilman Paul Vallone (D-Bayside). The event will take place June 29 and will be hosted in partnership with the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs.

The Independence Day celebration will begin at 6:30 p.m., and will feature music prior to the fireworks show at 9:15 p.m.

Parking will be available at Fort Totten, Bay Terrace shopping center and Clearview Golf Course, with bus transportation to and from the latter two provided by Vallo.

Yellow buses will run attendees from the parking lot at Clearview Golf Course to Fort Totten and from 213th Street and 23rd Avenue to Fort Totten. Transportation services will run between 6 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.
