The new hit CBS series “Bull” has returned to our borough to film for their current season.
Over the past two days, the hit drama has been filming out of Christ Church & Child Care Center in Woodside for an upcoming episode set to air in November. According to Pastor Joshua Hollmann, the production team set up shop in their church and all of the stars were hanging around the set, including Michael Weatherly (best known for his work as Anthony DiNozzo on the “NCIS” series), who plays Dr. Jason Bull in the show.
“Bull” follows the work of Dr. Jason Bull, a brilliant, charming and sometimes cocky psychologist who tries to get inside the minds of jurors, lawyers, defendants and witnesses in the court room. The character of Dr. Jason Bull is inspired by the early work of Dr. Phil McGraw (otherwise known as Dr. Phil) during his days as a lawyer.
This is not the first time that “Bull” has used Queens as its set. Over the summer, the cast and crew could be seen shooting in various locations in Ridgewood and Middle Village.
The episode that was filmed this week in Woodside will air on Tuesday, Nov. 22, at 9 p.m. on CBS.
