Cops are looking for a gun-toting suspect who walked up to a 22-year-old man and shot him near a fast food joint in Corona on Sunday night, police said.

Authorities said the shooting took place at 7:40 p.m. near a Popeye’s restaurant at the corner of 57th Avenue and 97th Street.

According to law enforcement sources, the 22-year-old male victim was walking eastbound on 57th Avenue when the unidentified suspect approached him, pulled out a firearm and shot the man once in the right leg. The shooter then fled the scene in an unknown direction.
