FLUSHING —An 11-year-old boy was in critical condition after being struck in Flushing Monday afternoon, police said.
According to police, the boy was headed southbound on Willets Point Boulevard and 148th Street shortly after 3 p.m. when he was struck by a 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee. The Jeep was driven by a 60-year-old woman headed westbound on Willets Point Blvd., police said.
The boy was taken to Elmhurst General Hospital and remains in critical condition.
The driver stayed at the scene and no arrests have been made.
The NYPD Collision Investigation Squad was investigating.
