Cops come to the rescue of three kittens trapped under a car hood in Queens Village

These kittens could have been in for a catastrophic end, according to the NYPD.

On Monday, Dec. 12, officers from the 105th Precinct responded to a 911 call of cats caught in the engine well of a car located on 100th Avenue and 218th Street in Queens Village. Upon their arrival, officers found that three kittens were trapped inside of the engine.

Officer Rudon and Officer Menezes, the officers at the scene, safely removed the kittens from a car engine. The NYPD tweeted about the rescue shortly afterwards, praising the officers’ efforts.
