Police released on Wednesday afternoon images of a man who slashed a woman’s face on the streets of Flushing last month.
At 8:40 p.m. on June 7, law enforcement sources said, an unknown man approached a 29-year-old woman in the vicinity of Main Street and 41st Avenue. Once he was within reach, the suspect slashed the victim on the left side of her face with a box cutter.
Following the attack, the suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim was transported to NewYork-Presbyterian Queens hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as a black male standing 5 feet, 7 inches tall and weighing 250 pounds. He was last seen a green head scarf, green bomber jacket, gray sweat pants and blue sneakers.
