A 24-year-old Long Island man died after he was beaten after leaving an Elmhurst strip club early Saturday morning, according to the NYPD.

Officers from the 110th Precinct responded to a 911 call of an unconscious man at the corner of Queens Boulevard and Hillyer Street just before 5 a.m. and discovered Elmont resident Kevin Figueroa with trauma to the head.

Figueroa was leaving the Vanity Gentleman’s Lounge when he became involved in a confrontation with several men and was struck, police said. EMS transported to victim to Elmhurst Hospital Center where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

Francisco Flores was arrested and charged with assault, but those charges were expected to be upgraded by the Queens District Attorney’s office, according to a police spokesman.

The investigation was ongoing and the Medical Examiner has yet to determine the cause of death.
