Police are investigating a burglary that occurred on Christmas Eve in Corona when two men entered an apartment building through a door located on the roof.
According to the NYPD, the two suspects entered an apartment at 108th Street and 42nd Avenue in Corona at about 7 p.m. on Dec. 24. Then, the men forced open the front door of the second-floor apartment and proceeded to steal $5,000 worth of jewelry.
The 29-year-old woman who lived in the apartment reported the burglary after she got home at about 1 a.m., according to police.
In a photo released by the 110th Precinct, one suspect was wearing a white sweatshirt, white hat, white sneakers and a light-colored book bag. The second suspect was wearing a dark sweatshirt with a hood, black sneakers and a white book bag.
There have been no arrests and the investigation is ongoing.
